Presentation

The cause of the reconciliation of the Churches should burn in the heart of every Christian. This book is the fruit of a friendship. Appreciating our unity, but also experiencing our differences, even our divergences in a climate of patient sharing: this is a rich experience of brotherhood in the Spirit. It is a book written by three hands – a Catholic, a Protestant, and an Orthodox – for a vast and bold ecumenical dialogue. Two years, 18 meetings, and hours of work were necessary to address more than thirty themes, from the Bible to ecology, including the role of women in Christian communities. The method is original: a substantive article on each theme written by one of the authors, followed by comments from the other two protagonists leading to a common position. A glossary has been placed at the end of the volume to help the reader understand certain uncommon terms.

Co-written with Claude Duccarroz (Catholic priest, Emeritus Provost of the Cathedral of Fribourg) and Noël Ruffieux (Orthodox layman). Collection "View and Knowledge."
